Abaddon or Apollyon is a figure mentioned in the Bible, specifically in the book of Revelation. In Revelation 9:11, Abaddon is described as the angel of the abyss, whose name means "destruction" or "destroyer." Many Christians interpret Abaddon as a demonic entity or a personification of destruction and chaos. The fallen angel is a reference to Lucifer, who was originally an angel in heaven but rebelled against God and was cast out. In Christian theology, Lucifer is often associated with Satan, the adversary of God and humanity.
